Water Storage
Dear Neighbors,
Water. You can't live without water. It's vital! Are you prepared with emergency water? There are many instances that could arise to disrupt our water supply such as an earthquake that bursts pipes, polluted water utilities, a hazmat situation, even a power outage that results in water not being pumped up to us.
Our friends and family members in Texas experienced firsthand the importance of storing water. Many folks who were lucky enough to maintain access to tap water had many days where they had to boil their water to make sure it was safe because the water treatment center wasn’t functioning properly due to the power outages.
We encourage each household to store at least 2 weeks of water. That’s 2 gallons of drinkable water, per person, per day. 3 is recommended.
We are putting in another group order for the 55 gallon blue water barrels, just $56 each with Alpine Food Storage. This is one of the best deals we've seen! Sign up here by April 19th.
Also, please sign up for help filling your barrels if needed, we have food grade hoses and volunteers available to help.
