First Aid

Section 6 of our CH1 Emergency Preparedness Plan has a comprehensive First Aid list put together by a medical professional in our neighborhood.

Vitamins.

Some of the most important vitamins:

  • Vitamin D - 1000 IU in winter

Don’t exceed 4,000 IU

  • Vitamin C - 60 mg / day

  • Zinc - 5 mg + / day

  • Calcium - 500 mg + / day

  • Magnesium - 5 mg + / day

  • Multi-vitamin: with added iron folate (folic acid) (Folic acid is vital for pregnant women especially for brain & spinal development of the fetus.)

  • Antioxidants

  • Electrolytes: highly recommend LyteShow which is a natural electrolyte without all the additives.
